Mini Bernedoodles | Sonoran Standard

Violet will be bred to Huxley for a mini-medium size litter of multigenerational bernedoodles! This is our only mini-medium litter this year!

This pairing was carefully made to produce smaller pups with great temperaments! I'll be honest that minis are harder to get the temperament right, but these lines are tried and true to make lovely dogs! If you want to read about some of their relatives. Violet is the daughter of Jemma and Hype. Huxley is Mando's nephew and the father of our upcoming stud Rhys!

Early September 2026

SIZE: Mini to Medium

Violet is 34lb and Huxley is 31lb. We expect most of these puppies to be between 30-50 pounds at adulthood, but some could be smaller or larger than this range!

COAT & COLOR:

All of the puppies will have fully furnished (least shedding), wavy or straight coats (-/- or +/-). No curly coats. Color possibilities include traditional tricolor, merle tricolor, tricolor parti, and merle tricolor parti. There are three photo examples at the top of Huxley's previous pups.

TEMPERAMENT:

Violet is fun and playful, but also loves a quiet cuddle on the couch. Her favorite activities are belly rubs and car rides. She even loves going to the groomer. She is gentle natured and lives with a family with other dogs & cats and gets along with all of them. She is medium energy with a nice on/off switch. She plays hard and naps hard.

Huxley’s temperament is what makes this boy most stellar. He is very sweet and cuddly, and has great human focus, extremely smart, and has a great off-switch, with a nice low energy. He is very friendly and does not have any ‘stranger danger,’ and is very loyal to “his people.” He is playful but definitely has a calm, low energy and can settle quickly.

I expect their pups to be lovely companions for families. The litter will be temperament tested to help match pup's individual personalities to each family's lifestyle & preferences.
