Ember will be bred to either Marvel or his son Monte.

We will decide which stud to use when it gets a little closer to the time of breeding.  

Puppies sired by Marvel would be approximately 80% poodle.

Puppies sired by Monte would be approximately 65% poodle.

 

Estimated Timeline

SIZE:

Based on Ember's previous pups, we estimate most of these pups will be between 50 and 70lb, but some could be larger than both parents. 

​

COLOR:

If sired by Marvel, all pups would be brown phantom or brown tricolor parti.

If sired by Monte, pups could be phantom, tricolor, or tricolor parti in brown OR black. 

Red/apricot puppies are not possible regardless of sire. 

​

COAT:

Regardless of which sire is chosen, the entire litter will be furnished with wavy coats (+/-). 

If sired by Marvel, all pups would be F/F, least shedding.

If sired by Monte, pups would vary from F/I (low shedding) to F/F (least shedding) and would be individually DNA tested to predict shedding level.

HEALTH:

Ember and Marvel are both fully health tested, including DNA, PennHIP, OFA hip (finals), eyes, cardiac, and patellas. Marvel also has OFA elbow (finals). Ember is OFA CHIC certified. Monte has already passed DNA, OFA eyes, hips (prelims), and elbows (prelims) and is scheduled to get OFA heart & patellas in the near future. ​

TEMPERAMENT:

 I expect their puppies to be sweet natured, affectionate, and medium energy. Em's previous pups are excellent family dogs and some are trained therapy dogs. All pups will be temperament tested prior to pick day to help match them with their families.
