✨The Good Vibes✨ Litter

Savvy & Ledger blessed us with NINE F1b mini bernedoodles!

Ledger is an outside stud owned by Daisy Mountain Doodles & Sun Valley Goldendoodles. 


Important Dates

SIZE:
Ledger weighs 21 pounds and stands 17" at the shoulder and Savvy is 51 pounds and stands 23" at the shoulder. We expect these puppies to fall somewhere between their parents' sizes, which makes them small enough to easily cuddle, but big enough to still do fun dog stuff! Each puppy comes with their own DNA test which predicts adult size, but please keep in mind that Embark frequently OVERESTIMATES adult size for poodles and doodles!

COLOR:

Tricolor, merle tricolor, trindle (like Savvy), and merle trindle in black OR chocolate. Pups have varying amounts of white, ranging from traditional tuxedo to flashy parti.

COAT:

The entire litter is furnished (fluffy facial hair) and we expect them all to be low to minimal shedding. Pups will have either wavy or curly coats. All will require frequent brushing and professional grooming. Each puppy comes with their own DNA test which helps us to predict coat type and expected shedding level. HEALTH:

FULLY HEATH TESTED parents! Savvy and Ledger are both DNA tested are 100% clear, including both types of DM, CDDY, and CDPA. Savvy has PennHIP, Good OFA hips prelims, as well as normal OFA elbow prelims, eyes, heart, dentition, and patellas. Ledger has amazing PennHIP scores (top 10%), as well as Good OFA hip prelims, and normal OFA elbow prelims, eyes, heart, dentition, and patellas. The COI (coefficient of inbreeding) for this litter is EXTREMELY low, between 1-3%. This is important because high COIs are associated with poorer health, infertility, and shorter lifespans.

TEMPERAMENT:

Savvy is loving, loyal, and goofy. She makes us laugh every day. Ledger is confident, smart, great with kids, and playful. These puppies are going to be a nice medium on the energy spectrum, great for active families. All pups will have temperament testing performed prior to pick day to help match each puppy with their perfect family.

  • Chuffed is a bomb proof dog. He is low sensitivity, highly confident, and highly resilient. He is not tender hearted, so he is not fazed by big shows of emotion. He has a medium energy level and touch tolerance. He could do well in a home with dog(s) or rowdy children. He has a bit of FOMO (fear of missing out) and might not do well with a family who is gone most of the day. His family will need to work on providing structure and healthy boundaries (crate training & time in the playpen) from an early age. He could potentially do well as a service dog prospect with the right handler.

Bliss

  • Temperament Summary:
    Bliss is fun and energetic. She thrives being around people. She’s confident, resilient, and not fazed by new sights, but can be more sensitive to loud or scary noises. She has a medium play drive. She could do well in a family with kids or another dog to play with. Her new family will need to be committed to training and positively reinforce when she’s settled and calm.

  • Smitten is the most reserved puppy of this litter. She takes time to warm up to new people and can be sensitive to loud noises. Once she knows you, she LOVES you though and will be your shadow. She needs a family that is committed to empowering her with positive reinforcement (no punishment!) and intentional socialization while she is young so she learns to believe in herself. She would likely be overwhelmed in a busy household with rowdy kids.
