Jemma will be bred to Harvey for our first F2 litter! The pups will be 50% berner and 50% standard poodle.

SIZE:
We expect most of these puppies to be 50-70 pounds at adulthood. Each puppy will come an Embark DNA test which helps to predicts adult size.
COAT:
The coats in this litter can vary quite a bit, so each pup will be DNA tested to predict adult coat traits. We can get straight, wavy, or curly textures. Pups with F/F will shed the least, F/I pups will be low to light shedding. There is also a 25% chance of unfurnished (aka flat coat) puppies that will shed!! Every puppy will be DNA tested prior to pick day so that we can predict coat type and expected shedding.

COLOR:
Black tricolor, black shaded sable, brown tricolor, or brown shaded sable.
TEMPERAMENT:
Both Jemma & Harvey have phenomenal temperaments. They are easy going, great with kids, and affectionate. We expect these puppies to be exceptional family companions, sweet natured, smart, and easy to train. Every puppy will be temperament tested prior to pick day.
HEALTH:
Both Jemma & Harvey are thoroughly health tested including DNA, PennHIP, OFA hip prelims, elbow prelims, as well as basic cardiac, patellas, and eyes. Harvey carries 1 copy of SO1A DM but puppies are not at risk since Jemma is tested and clear for both SOD1A and SOD1B DM.

Until pregnancy is confirmed, all litters are TENTATIVELY planned. We love to plan up to a year in advance, but even the best laid plans sometimes go awry! Plans can change due to new information or opportunities, or sometimes due to mother nature not bending to our will! If we do not get a minimum number of reservations ahead of time we may elect to skip a heat so that we are not exceeding market demand.
